Mission Our mission is to win souls for the building of God’s Kingdom; in worship and praise through song. To minister under the Holy Spirit, praising God in excellence through music.
Purpose Our purpose is to lift the Name of Jesus through anthems, hymns, spirituals, traditional gospel, and contemporary songs, in the form of Praise and Worship to God. Scripture “Speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs. Singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord. Giving thanks always for all things to God the Father, in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ….”
Divine Voices of Praise
This group is comprised of singers of the church ranging from age 14 and up. This unit accompanies the Pastor and congregation on outside engagements when requested. This choir sings an all-encompassing musical repertoire ranging from the sacred and traditional to the genre of contemporary gospel and religious music. This choir serves on the 1st, 3nd, and 4th Sunday at the 7:45 a.m. and the 10:45 a.m. worship experiences. Rehearsals are every Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Visit official DVOP website.Radical Praise
Radical Praise is the Youth and Young Adult Choir, ranging in ages 13-25. This unit accompanies the Pastor and congregation on outside engagements when requested. The choir specializes in contemporary gospel music. This choir serves on the 3 rd Sunday of each month, at the 7:45 a.m. & 10:45 a.m. worship experiences. The Men of Ark is our Men’s Choir, this group is comprised of all male singers of the church, ranging from ages 18 and up. This choir serves on the 2nd Sunday at the 7:45 a.m. and the 10:45 a.m. worship experiences. Their music focus is traditional and contemporary gospel music. Rehearsals are every Saturday at 11:00 a.m.Ark Angels
This group is the children’s choir of Ark Church. They range in ages 4-12 years old. They specialize is music appropriate for this age grouping.
